The app
EasyMail Pro runs on your computer. We do not operate a server for it and we do not receive your emails, contacts, passwords, AI keys or settings.
- Stored on your computer. Your mail, attachments and settings are kept in the app's data folder. Mail passwords, sign-in tokens and AI keys are kept in an encrypted vault whose key is held by your operating system's keychain.
- Connections the app makes. It connects directly to the mail servers of the accounts you add, to Microsoft or Google when you sign in with them, and to the mail servers' DNS records to suggest settings. It opens web addresses only when you ask it to: links you click, unsubscribe requests, and remote images you choose to load.
- EasyMail AI. AI features are off until you add a key. When you use them, the text of the emails involved and your question are sent to the AI provider you chose (for example Anthropic or OpenRouter), under your own account and that provider's terms. A model running on your own computer keeps that text local.
- No telemetry. The app does not collect usage statistics, crash reports or analytics, and it contains no advertising.
Your email providers, sign-in services and AI provider process your data under their own privacy policies. We have no access to that processing.
This website
The website is hosted by Cloudflare. When you visit, Cloudflare processes technical data such as your IP address, browser type and the pages requested, to deliver the site and protect it against abuse. We do not use cookies, analytics, advertising or tracking, and the fonts are served from this site rather than a third party.
The legal basis is our legitimate interest in running a secure website (Article 6(1)(f) GDPR). Cloudflare acts as our processor and keeps such logs for a limited time.
Downloads
App downloads are served from GitHub. When you download a file, GitHub processes your request under its own privacy statement.
When you email us
If you write to hello@easymailpro.tech, we use your address and message to reply and keep the conversation for as long as it is needed, usually no more than two years. Mail to this domain is forwarded to our inbox by Cloudflare Email Routing. The legal basis is our legitimate interest in answering you, or the steps needed for an agreement you ask about (Article 6(1)(b) and (f) GDPR).
Transfers outside the EU
Cloudflare and GitHub may process data in the United States. Both participate in the EU-US Data Privacy Framework and use the European Commission's standard contractual clauses.
Your rights
You can ask for access to, correction or deletion of personal data we hold about you, ask us to restrict or stop processing it, and ask for a copy in a portable format. Write to hello@easymailpro.tech. You can also complain to the Danish Data Protection Agency (Datatilsynet), Carl Jacobsens Vej 35, 2500 Valby, Denmark, datatilsynet.dk.
Changes
If this policy changes, the new version is published here with a new date. Material changes to how the app handles data will also be noted in the release notes.
